As a National BioPharma Industry Executive/Leader and Industry-wide Consultant, Dr. Anderson brings nearly 30 years of experience in the healthcare industry, advancing pharmaceuticals and biologics in the United States Market.
He has held numerous positions of executive leadership at small to medium sized pharma/biotech companies & startups and has owned his own healthcare consulting firm for nearly 10 years, serving BioPharma/Medical Device/Diagnostic companies with expert consultation regarding clinical operations/clinical development, medical & regulatory affairs, sales & marketing strategy, managed markets/reimbursement/contracting strategy, governmental affairs, KOL engagement/development and specialty distribution.
Over the course of his career, Dr. Anderson has been instrumental in successfully bringing over 20 US & foreign products through the clinical & regulatory development process in the US to full market commercialization, including directly dealing with the FDA in pre & post IND/NDA/BLA meetings, as well as negotiating with CMS & commercial payers to achieve positive coverage policies & favorable reimbursement. His broad product expertise extends to oral & injectable pharmaceuticals/biologics, laboratory/pathology diagnostics, medical/surgical devices & disposables, capital equipment and specialty pharmacy services across multiple disease states and medical specialties, including: Hematology/Oncology; Immunology; CNS; Cardiology; Endocrinology; Critical Care; Women’s Health; Surgery; Internal Medicine; GI; Pediatrics; Emergency Medicine; Addiction Medicine; Psychiatry/Behavioral Health.
Early in his career, Dr. Anderson was a professional baseball player with the Pittsburgh Pirates before receiving a BS in Neuropsychology at Austin College, an MS in Strategic Management at the University of North Texas, and a PhD in Molecular Pharmacology & Immunology (with a focus in Cancer Biology) at the University of North Texas Health Science Center.
